The first quarter of 2025 has shown varied performance trends for the leading carpooling and ridesharing apps in the Dominican Republic on the Android platform. Here's a closer look at the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

inDrive. Rides with fair fares experienced fluctuating weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at approximately 14.3K downloads, the app saw a slight dip mid-quarter but rebounded to a peak of 13.5K by the end of March. Weekly active users began the quarter at around 300K, with a notable decrease to 231K by the end of the period.

Uber - Request a ride showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at about 6.8K in the last week of March. Active users fluctuated, starting at 500K and peaking at 600K mid-quarter, before declining to 483K by quarter's end.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides started the quarter with 5K downloads, experiencing a gradual decrease to 3.7K by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a slight increase mid-quarter, peaking at 87.5K before settling at 80.5K.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver began with 4.3K downloads, which gradually decreased to 2.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users started at 70.2K, peaking at 79.1K mid-quarter, then declining to 62.9K.

DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash showed an initial increase in downloads from 2.5K to 3.5K, then tapered off to 2.5K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 29K throughout the quarter.
